Your Fishing Tackle ESSENTIALS!

We all find the call of the wilderness far to irresistible to ignore.  The fish are just too many, the time too short, the air too fresh, and the waters too inviting.

A day trip to the favorite fishing grounds is definitely in order!  Or perhaps an afternoon is not enough and you are fantasizing about indulging yourself in a relaxing weekend by the water is in order. For the plan to work, fishing camp gear is needed. Here are somethings you might want to take with you or leave at home.

Aside from your personal gear such as your sunglasses, hat, jacket, flashlight, first aid kit, and the necessary clothing. Plus for a weekend you will need the usual camping equipment like a tent, sleeping bag, camping stove and cookware, food and water supplies.

But what about the fishing gear or tackle?

Whether you're new to fishing, or have been fishing for years, there are certain items of fishing tackle that you'll need more than others. Here's what you should have to enjoy your fishing more, and hopefully catch more fish.
1.) Now without a doubt one the most important items of fishing tackle is your 'Fishing Rod'. Unless you plan on catching the fish with your bare hands...

There are so many to choose from today but if you are looking for a bargain and interesting in saving lots of money then i highly recommend  you visit ebay or Amazon.

This is the very best place to find absolutely everything you need for a memorable fishing trip. Whether they are obvious or obscure, you will find what you are looking for on Ebay and Amazon, at BARGAIN prices.

When searching for a fishing rod you need to make sure that yours is comfortable enough to use all day, and that it is the right weight and length for you, and the sort of fishing you're doing. I recommend looking a brand names first as they are all extremely well made and will last you a very long time, saving you money in the long run.

2.) Fishing Reels and fly reels are also very important, as you have already guessed. Depending on the sort of fish you're catching, you might want to be able to feed your line by hand, or by using the handle on the reel. You might what to ask yourself if you can use your reel to land a fish even with gloves on, or when your hands are cold and wet?

3.) You will require a variety of 'Fishing Lines' depending on what you're fishing for. Bigger fish will need a stronger line than smaller fish. You might want to set up several rods or fly reels so that you have the right sort of reel and line no matter what sort of fish are available...

4.) 'Waders' are vital if you fancy getting more involved in your fishing, and actually stand in the river to catch your fish. It's important to choose a good fitting pair that are comfortable, and will keep you warm all day.

5.) If you're going fly fishing, then 'Flies' are essential. No matter whether you buy flies, or start fly tying, you'll soon learn which work best for the waters you fish in.

6.) A good sturdy 'Tackle Box' is perfect for keeping your smaller fishing tackle items safe and away form harm. There is nothing more annoying to discover you have lost or broken something at a vital moment.

7.) Having the right clothing will make fishing more fun as well. You'll definitely want to make sure that you stay warm and dry. In addition, if you're wearing waders, you'll want to make sure that you have all the flies and accessories you need with you so that you don't have to keep going back to the bank. A decent 'Fishing Vest' will have numerous pockets that will help you carry all you need.

9.) 'Fishing Bags' are a good idea to hold all your fishing tackle and your fishing box. This saves you having loads to carry around when traveling to and from the bank side. Plus you might also want to take food and drink with you too.

10.) Don't forget to bring along a 'Fishing Net.' This is so you can easily land all the fish that you catch, and can either decide to let them go, or to take them home.

The other essentials in fishing camp gear are the cooler bags, the rod cases or pods, the tackle bags, rucksacks, bivvies and shelters, rig tools, bed chairs, tables and bank furniture. A tackle box is a good idea to organize and pack the fishing gear in. A vest too, especially if fly fishing or going out in a small boat.

Finally, there’s the gear you should leave at home: your iPhone and iPod, electronic games, blackberry, pda, and netbook. Leave the dvd, tv, and radio at home and take a good book instead. Better yet, take a notebook to record your thoughts without distractions.

If you are going alone, give yourself over to the experience completely. If you are going with friends or family, make it a fun social occasion. You only have to think about your companions and the fish that are waiting for you to come.

Start planning your next fishing camp trip now, you won’t regret it!! :)
